Squeegeeman has been foiled!
Notice there is no “P” in our ool. Sure, we like to complain about the rain here in the Northwest, but when it does dry off for a day or so, you can usually get your runs in. At worst, you might need the help of a squeegee, a pile of rags or the occasional weed burner. This park in Encino(?) actually has a sump pump but no electricity, according to the thread on Old Man Army. Yes, there’s a lot of OMA crossover here lately. No, that guy isn’t actually peeing in a pool, he’s hanging a tape measure into a skatepark bowl. Hit the link to see larger versions and additional shots. – Thanks to Concretins for the tip.
I was at this park about 2 weeks ago. the pool had about half as much water in it. all the kids were trying to carve around the water level. the scum marks where about where the water level is in that photo.
where’s my swimming goggles and ear plugs?
This is cool but check this OUT!!!!!!!!!!!———–http://www.concretedisciples.com/cd_what/page2.php?article=685
Colin is back!
Your contributions are valued, as ever, but try to keep up with the rest of the class.
All I need is about 20 minutes of dry air, and I’m skating…
that bowl full of water might be a bit of a problem…
I shant complain about skating in a parka…
Rain can be fun. Downhill powerslide competitions for example become ever the more exciting. It also becomes easier to learn no-ollie 540’s and 720’s on wet skatepark concrete.
