Saturday morning under-14 session at Department of Skateboarding. It was a lot more crowded than it looks in this photo but it seemed pretty safe and sane.

The session should be under-14/over-40. I think these two age brackets would be very compatible. They both want to skate and not be bothered by those damned snaking show-offs between ages 15 and 39. I’m only sort of kidding. It would actually work pretty well. The kids skate the obstacle area, the dads session the bowl. Perfect.
Conahan, how and why were you there?
I had fake ID for 13 and was trying to horn in on the session.
