Sign Language
Barcode Art has this sign language primer for skateboard trick names. The videos on the page are all set to auto start and repeat, so it’s a little distracting to look at. If you are deaf, I imagine that page would kind of be the equivalent of standing in a room with a bunch of people yelling. On that note here’s a link to Deaf Skateboards, a team made up entirely of deaf skateboarders. They have a cool logo of a monkey skeleton on a skateboard covering his ears. It looks better than it, uh, sounds. I couldn’t find a decent Monty Nolder link. I know he’s still skating.
