Glen Friedmans has a bunch of videos of punk rock and Z-Boys era skateboarding on Burning Flags. Black Flag TV appearances, Dogtown skaters, there’s even video of Ian McKaye and Jeff Nelson skateboarding at the Kenter Canyon banks. Mostly crappy quality video but some cool old footage.

…that Suicidal Party is the one I always said I would want to back to if I had a time machine…its looks even cooler than I thought it would look…Regarding the Cathode Fuck VHS tape, I recall watching it one debauched weekend in college with Randy. It was just a crummy bootleg if I remember, from That’s Rentertainment. Between youtube, New Wave Theater, and the Tom Snyder Tomorrow Show DVDs I think I’ve actually seen that was on it…Mtv’s “Punks and Posers” sounds right and remains elusive.

Killer stuff. Does anyone remember htat old vidoe tape floating around int the mid 80’s that had clips of punk rock on tv news and bands playing on shows, fake bands on Chips, etc… I thin kit was called Cathode Ray Fuck or soemthing like that. Can’t find it on the Interweb ever.
Also, there was that MTV special called Punks and Posers (in think) it had a bunch of bands playing live like the Dickies , that band called Plain Wrap, and others, plus a little bit of street skating outside the club
