Another skateboard art show
These skateboard art shows at galleries are now getting to be a dime a dozen. Nobody invites me to exhibit in these shows, but that won’t stop me from mentioning this one that opened today in Chicago at the EXPGallery. There are 40 artists featured in the show, and some money is being raised for Ray Underhill, although the details are slim. Artist reception is June 8th from 6-10. The exhibition runs from June 4th to June 30th, 2007.
Wow! That was a fast post. I am going to try to escape the house Friday night to check this out. I will try to take photos and report back. I hope it isn’t lame.

no real need. Not much going on here. The new concrete park at Northbrook is excellent though. The best around here.
I have a deck in the show. For anyone not familiar EXPgallery is one of the best gallery spaces in Chicago. There are some extremely talented artists in this show too. I’m sure there will be hoards of “Old Man Skate Brigade” support for the cause that night.
