Author! Author!

Listen up all you would be zine makers and D.I.Y.ers… Skate and Annoy is looking to add a few new voices to our “staff”. I’m going to grant “author” access to a few lucky people. What that means (besides less work for me) is that you would have the ability to make posts on the blog section of this site. (Hey.. how’d he do that picture?)

Right. Go to our contact page and drop me an email with the subject “Author” and a link or two to your web site or a few short examples of something you’ve written. Please note: Skate and Annoy has a long history, and your voice may not fit in. So if you don’t get chosen, don’t take it personally.

What do you get out of this in return? Not much at this point in our “business model”, except for your name in lights on the web. I’ve got a plugin in the works that will allow each post to link to the author’s profile page on SnA as well as any external web site you may have from each post. So at the very least, you will get increased traffic to your own site if you have one. We also get the occasional goody or two from skate and record companies, which I am happy to pass on if you can pry my greedy fingers from them.

So let’s hear from you. Go west young man (or woman) and make your fortune!
