funny image from my phone cam
Someone want to remind me how the phonecam comes up with a double exposure-type image like this? I think this was the HDR version of a shot of Dan Hughes one-foot carving.

My phone does that all the time with the HDR option on. It is only good for still shots.
I suppose it’s actually a three-legged carve.
Transformer.
iPhone HDR (if it is an iPhone) is done by taking two shots with two exposures and ‘intelligently’ blending them. Pretty impressive that it can do it even that fast. My Canon G12 (a sort of high end compact) takes three shots but takes much longer and is useless without a tripod, or at least a solid surface.
Helmet Kook! 😉 Rock on Hughes!
I just like the concept that skaters of any age take cameraphone pictures of each other skating – 50 isn’t that different than 5 in skateboarding
I blame sun spots.
For skate photos on iPhone, I take video footage and screenshot the best frame.
Oh man, that’s as bad as using a motor-drive. Kidding, how’s the resolution on those vid frames?
Where is that awesome looking bowl???
Alaska I think.
Yeah, Dan! Rip it up! I’d recognize that helmet anywhere.
