Arrival of Makaha’s Zamac-5 marks the beginning of the third generation. First there were converted roller skates, then die cast aluminum 356-T-6 skate trucks came along. Neither was fully engineered exclusively for skateboards – Makaha’s Zamac-5 trucks are.<\/p>\n

Makaha’s Zamac-5 features improved adjustable hanger for built-in flex control, new axle width (5\u00bc”) and yoke track (2\u00bd”), deep indented hex head action bolt for maximum ground clearance, cold headed and work hardened C10-18 steel axle, precision-ground copper-washed cones, Makaha Blue cushions, and a board-to-center-axle clearance a full half-inch more than our closest competitor.
