Strada Skates
It says Strada Skates but it looks like the only thing they are interested in selling is Converse Hi-tops. Chuck Taylors for $19! If you want to buy adult sizes these days, expect to pay $50 or more. Nike owns Converse now, and they probably aren’t being made in USA, so why do these most basic of cheap shoes cost so much these days? It’s not like they have made them any more durable. I wonder what the color “diamond jubilee” looks like, and who knew there was a town called “State College, PA?” I did a web search to see if Strada Skates was still in business in Pennsylvania, but the only thing of interest that I found was this Variflex advert that must have come from a roller skating publication, and so it will not have it’s own page in this archive.
