The Step Dad Video, or more formally, Beer Drinkers, Hell Raisers is the product of Jimmy Collins and Joe Radano. The two split the time behind the lens, while Joe took on primary editing duties. The project aimed to capture the nature of skateboarding in Maine. The rugged “spots” that the State provides and the style of skateboarding that evolves from them. During this process, Jimmy and Joe inherently captured the unique personalities and characters that continue to thrive and build the community of skateboarding around them. Beer Drinkers Hell Raisers is a window into obscurity. Proof that with a positive mental attitude and hard work, a thriving skate scene can exist even in the harshest of environments.

Willis Kimbel Goes Pro

http://youtu.be/3oaw7wk5Amo

Thrasher reports that Oregon ripper Willis Kimbel has gone pro for Creature with a revamped graphic taken from his father Curt Kimbel’s pro model back in the 70’s for Bad Co. The video above is from Willis’ welcome to Creature back in 2012. He’s a ripper and a quality human being. Congrats.

Here’s a shot of his old man’s graphic.
