It’s more about the composition than the actual skateboarding, but it’s interesting nonetheless.
How skateboarders’ curves reveal a sculpture space?
Korean artist Koo Jeong-A imagined an art piece integrated in the landscape, which would interfere with its environment and evolve with the light of the day. Her collaboration with l’Escaut architecture studio and Concrete Flow Skateparks along with Doctor Skatepark (formerly known as Brusk Collective) gave birth to a beautiful sculpture, a strong intervention in the territory, and a very tricky park to ride — or as its creators put it, an invitation to “skate the landscape”.
Shot during the opening of the sculpture (celebrated by the 7th edition of the FOSSJ), the film explores the unique artisitic performances of an evolving sculpture and a bunch of old school skateboarders.Full story available at bit.ly/OtroDomus
