Grover is working on his life’s ambition, which is to get a proper vert ramp in the Portland area. He’s got a line on an old portable setup used in a primitive version of an Extreme!™ sporting event that was called the X-Games, or so I am told. He has almost reached the 20% threshold in commitments for the funds he needs to acquire it, but there’s no place to put it right now. Let’s build some buzz about getting a vert ramp in Portland, so you can make little Grover’s dreams come true.

I hear people have funded vacations and all sorts of lovely things for themselves on Kick Starter.

It’s pretty easy I hear. 1. pay for trip with credit card, in advance. 2. create kickstarter fund. 3. make video pleading your case for why it is imperative that this trip happen, for documentation purposes. 4. dangle the illusive golden carrot in front of the noses of the masses, that’s right a bbq with Ken Park, but only if you donate a grand.
There is more honor in getting money from a loan shark. Meh.

We need to raise 20 thousand we can’t do it 10$ a pop cancel you gym membership and pony up. We are still figuring out how to set up the donation side of things hang in there I will figure it out.
P.S. I have reconsidered I will take your money. We here at the Ramp conservatory would prefer $500 and up donations.
