By the time this post goes live, the limited edition Disney Paul Krassner & Wally Wood will undoubtedly be sold out or otherwise no longer available from Boom Art, $340 or not. The content aside, the overall package is really well done. This is the way to, uhm… do it. The Disneyland Memorial Orgy illustration is not a tip to 90’s era skate graphics copyright steamrolling, but was originally drawn in 1967 and published in what the hippies called an underground comic.

That’s something I’ve wondered about cartoons. How come some cartoon animals are anthropomorphic and drive cars and have to get jobs and perform other human activities while some animals are just regular livestock animals? Did they split from a common ancestor at some point in their evolution or can both varieties come from the same litter? If Porky Pig is a farmer and raises non-talking pigs is it OK for him to eat them or is that cannibalism?
