That’s an excellent point. There is some Buddhist parable about being able to understand the universe better from one’s back garden rather than trying to travel around the world and see the whole damn thing. In other word’s an intense and narrow focus might be more revealing than pursuing a wide variety of interests.
Easier said than done. It’s the curse of the curious. I definitely have way too many interests. I know for sure I would benefit from shedding most of them and focusing. But they are just too damn interesting. Where’s a trust fund when you need it?
Great comic MC. I like my life to be like a big Zoom! project- remember the show? A giant squid is a big draw at the Aquarium, the slug in the back yard is disregarded. Both are bizarre, secretive mollusks. People are curious for “new” projects and too easily impressed with size, forgetting that their vantage point of medium sized mammal is arbitrary. Stay in the backyard, behold the slug in your mindgarden, and cultivate more interests than Max Fisher. Launch Situationist sortie.
Little purple Pokemon has a lapped layback!! That’s my main interest.

Nice smith over the frame!

I’ve been hoping for jack of many trades, master of several… not really there yet. Probably won’t ever feel I’ve mastered anything.
just don’t bring the other interests to the session (especially t-shirts related to those interests, beer shirts and metal ok)
