Skate and Annoy: Daily

It’s long Deutschland Uber Ollies

Benni Dittrich from Hemer/Germany blasted this crazy Ollie in a session in the Rheinpark Duisburg! The unofficial world record is made by Kris Markovich at the LG World longest Ollie Contest in 2003. Kris ollied 16 Feet and 5 inches. The distance between the stairs Benni ollied is 16 Feet and 5,1 inch (5 Meter) and he is landing way behind. Is this the new record?

Is this a world’s record? I don’t know, don’t really care, but it’s good and long.

– Thanks to Andreas Scheitel for the tip.

UPDATE: I can’t believe I missed the obvious pun. I’ve remedied the post title. Tip of the hat to Jake and Annoy!

  • its a gap ollie

  • retards! face reality. its a flat Ollie! No one has the Pop like this Kraut does! You guys are hating here

  • benni’s ollie was pretty amazing.

  • I know Dittrich and Pfanner and both are amazing but when it goes to ollie pop Benni is absolutely dominanting! You must see his bs ollies and kickflips 😉

  • theres a shot of pfanner in the March 2010 thrasher poppin a backside 180 over an enormous double set, its at least as long as this ollie

  • pfanner would have kickflipped it.

  • Amen, Bird, and sorry for the Stones/U2 derail.

I did the Big Three at Portland Waterfront (RIP) as a kid of about 19. The distance is (was) pretty good. You had to ollie at full-speed, as high as you could, out and over two stairs that were about four feet wide and two feet high. And it’s about half the ollie the kid in the video makes…

  • westernbird

what are you all talking about ? Did YOU ever tried to ollie a distance like this? It

  • Seriously. Not looking to have some stupid argument about musical opinions–you either like ’em or you don’t!

For me, they’re almost as overated as U2.

  • Suck it, ColinWhoever. The Stones need to retire.

  • Talentlessquitter

Btw,it’s not the Stones kid that is the problem…

  • Talentlessquitter

Er schafft es!(Y’all am,ericans think us dutch speak german anyway…).
And if the kid wouldn’t have been there,he would have hit the grass..
    Just hear that photocamera shutter.

  • That mean he stepped off, not I. What was he thinking. That is what was I thinking.

  • I stepped off because the grass came on.

  • colinwalshrules

it does not count unless you do it twice, and the Stones dont suck dude, you do.

  • Watch out for the crazy ollie guy, there’s a funny frame of him pointing at the kid and the other one looking at him sheepishly.,He was heading for the trash bin when he started to step off but most importantly his hat fell off.

  • You know, Benni totally blew that kids pop shuvit!

  • it’s done deal he made it, the kids were in thew way,
as usual. one of the agles looks like he’s going from high to low ,is it level ground?

  • It’s a a make. I hope he punched that dipshit. The Stones suck.

  • dougdrill

Did he raise his fists in victory, or in anger at that kid? He’s looking right at him when he puts up his dukers.

  • dougdrill

At :21 tis a make. Bails in same second to avoid kid in hat. Uberlong ollie (should be called a mullen…, anyways…) and annoying kid of the month all wrapped up in one neat package.

  • A

    Agreed. It’s a make.

  • Gnarles Copinghagen

Looks like he regained control at the end just before he jumped off. Looks like a make to me.

  • That was definitely a make. He jumped off to avoid that kid. Somebody call Chris Pfanner.

  • Kinda seemed like he was a bit irritated by the kid too at the very end… I think he would have been able to reign in the wobble… I say make, and I say GNAR. But what the hell do I know.

  • ForWhatIt'sWorth

Y’all are wishful negators. He landed it, wobbled, STOPPED wobbling, THEN jumped off.

  • jakeandannoy

I watched it again and actually he bails to avoid collision with the kid in the Stones shirt. So, unless that kid is some kind of silly lurker hologram or ghost, didnt have much choice.

  • jakeandannoy

Holy shit, seriously? Looks like he jumps off like an inch before he runs out of concrete runway. And as for wobbling, he lands it at like 25 mph, on flat, slick, concrete. Ever try to ollie while bombing a hill? Balance can be tough. I give the krout props.

  • nweyesk8

I have to agree with mr walsh, he didn’t ride away clean, he wobbled a few feet then jumped off because he lost control, but how many times have I seen someone ‘land’ a trick and then immediately put their foot down and push and play it off as a make? still gnarly, but he should have strove to land it and roll away clean if he wants to claim it as a record distance…

  • colinwalshrules

he didnt land it, he had to jump off at the end.

  • jakeandannoy

    Uber-ollie….
