How do networks stay in business? Ratings. If they can get good ratings with a skatboarding spectacle I say, Go for it. I skate for fun. I don’t think anything could change that. It’s all about having a personal relationship with…your trucks. 🙂
Well I do find it annoying that the major media outlets only pay attention when it’s a spectacle or at least pulls the big numbers to satisfy their advertisers. It was interesting before the networks discovered it.
Where’s the harm in those things? Do you feel less unique and and more mainstream? That sounds like a personal problem. If you want to be really non-comformist start rollerblading. 🙂
