Well, that’s who it is. I snapped this shot of her at a NSA contest called the Bluegrass Agression Session in Louiville, Kentucky back in 1989 or so. I had her phone number to get a date do an interview but I decided against it since I asked for it as a goof and though it best not to hassle her. Stupid conscious. Found it again around 2000 and threw it out. OK, nothing to see here. move along.

Hi Kilwag,
I put out a zine titled Edger from 1987 to 1991.
A funny thing I remember about that contest was how quiet the crowd was. My friend & I were sitting in those fold-out chairs about half-way to the back during the vert contest. We the only people going berzerk for EVERY skater.

She’s originally from Port Angeles, WA, and 30 or 40 years later I lived there for four years. That pretty much makes me Tony’s little brother.

Chip – what zine? We were probably on the deck together.

Gator did win that contest. Somehow I was able to talk my parents into taking me & a friend to that contest. It was a long-ass drive from our home in Virginia! I barged the decks during practice to shoot photos for my ‘zine & eventually got kicked-off the ramp by Barry Zaritsky for not having credentials.

Looks kinda like Egghead Jr from Foghorn Leghorn.

Is that the one Gator won? I still have that video tape.
