What the hell?
Grove City, Ohio? I thought this was a weird rendering of a concept when I saw it on The Concretins. But photos of people skating the thing can be found on this site.
It needs to be bigger. Someone needs to get a shot of 4 people hitting inverts on the various walls of this thing at the same time.
Yo! Thanks for the mention! And I apologize for the current blog entry containing a rather disturbing image to greet visitors… 🙂 There are inherent dangers to having a multiple access blog aren’t there? HA! Will be working on a new entry with a report from Nashville and Bowling Green tomorrow. Thanks again. Carry on.
I was in Columbus from Seattle last weekend. This “H” shaped feature seems small and unusual, but it is very skateable and a lot of fun.
Someone needs to post a shot of one of the locals ripping the hot tub sized pool there. 3′ shallow, 5′ deep end, couldn’t have been more that 8′ wide and 25 feet long.
Yeah – That was my “disturbing image to greet visitors, but glad you are checking. I went to Grove City and could never wrap mind around how to skate the H.
There were a couple of locals skating the “hot tub.” I did try that and could not make more than one pass at it. The tight end was just too tight for me to carve thru.
That said, I was a loner. I think I could nut up and skate better when I know I have somebody who will dial the 9 and the 1 and keep their finger on the second 1 when I’m ready to go for it.
