Bones wheels recently released this tribute wheel for Chris Miller who has come back onto the scene in the past couple of years. For you younger guys Chris Miller is an influential vert skater who ripped hard in the 80’s then disappeared from the limelight for a while only to reappear as one of the lame commentators for the X-games and more recently he has been seen skating in contests and appearing in magazines. There’s no doubt that Chris is still a sick skater and at 90 years old he can still rip the big terrain better than most. Now to the wheels, there’s not much to say that hasn’t been said already about Bones’ Skatepark Formula wheels, they’re really fast, they slide well and I still haven’t flatspotted a single one after riding about 4 sets over the past 2 years. The only difference with these Millers is the graphic and that they are 60 Miller-meters instead of millimeters, must be some new unit of measure… They’re still the same high quality wheels as before and they perform great in the concrete skatepark world, the only problem I have had with SPF’s is that they are a little slick on wood, others say they haven’t experienced this but 3 good slams from sliding out that I had at the Department of Skateboarding’s bowl in Portland is my evidence to this. Anyway these wheels are still high quality and you should get some if you like to ride concrete and go fast.
