Beggars Banquet has re-released the entire Cocteau Twins catalog re-mastered on  CD, plus a best of collection titled Stars and Topsoil. That’s seven CD’s spanning 1982-1990. Starting with the first (and best) Garlands, and followed by Head over Heals, The Cocteau Twins build a lush and meandering heavy mood that is more ethereal than other goth bands of the era.   But as time marches on, the Cocteau Twins start sounding less and less like Siouxsie and more like Enya. Pretty soon you’re stuck in tattooed princess fairey land, which might appeal to you if you eat a bunch mushrooms and like to wander around in the forest in your underwear or need to score some background music for a dream sequence or the sensitive girl scene in a G-rated movie… Hippies in new wave clothing! Burn, burn, burn them!!!  Er, uhm… Right. Anything after Treasure is for hardcore fans or people in comas. Enjoy!

Hey Corporate Types: Why not send in your skateboard gear for review. We promise to review it promptly (unless it is raining or we are busy or lazy). If we think it sucks, we'll get a second opinion. We even pass stuff on to a lucky reader. We love product.
