The Daggers: Lock Up Your Daughters
Label: Unity Squad
Release Date: 2000
Review Date: 2001
Lock up your CD player more like! I'm as big a sucker for snotty 77 New York punk as the next guy, probably bigger, but there has to be some meat behind the guitar solos and Johannsenesque vocals, and there isn't here. They get the sound down pat: you would really believe it was recorded in the mid 70s. However, they forgot the songs! This is godawful. A complete waste of half an hour of my time. A good dog walk spoiled! How bad is it? It's the only thing I've ever removed from my MP3 jukebox! A complete waste of musical instruments.
Avoid at all costs. This gets 1 star, and that's for the samples from "Thrashin" between songs!
You'll like this if: you are deaf.
