Been skating since 1981 and spilled my blood in 49 states doing it. If anyone has any frequently flyer miles to donate to the cause; I’ll scratch Hawaii off my dance card.
Currently a resident of Huntsville, AL and spent the majority of my life in Memphis, TN.
Huntsville’s an odd spot, there are more PhD’s per capita in Huntsville than anywhere in the world. Supporting NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center, Space & Missile Command and literal hundreds of defense businesses that support aerospace and missile systems.
Skate scene is pretty strong, currently have a decent public park, an expansive private skatepark. Some up and comers like James Hardy who is on Real and Fallen, Neal Brown’s stint with Alien Workshop. Not bad for the sons of engineers and rocket scientists.
Of all my self-stating declarations, I qualify myself as an artist, a tinkerer, amateur inventor and scholar of bullshit.
