  1. Long story short. I did the artwork for this skateboard and for doing so the investor (owner of skate station) gave me half ownership of the company. The shape was an old Hossoi. He gave approval because he was moving on to bigger better shapes. And he was a part of the San Leandro team Curb Dog’s(Joe Lopes Dave Vanderspek ect.) as was I. This is the board on the cover of both Curb Dog videos. Being a part of the inner circle this company could have been huge. It only lasted 1 year however. The main reason it closed was I was also the district manager of all Skate and Surf stations. I caught two of my managers stealing merchandise and I didn’t turn them in because they also were skaters. The owners loved one of the guy’s and he told them it was all my idea. (for what I made plenty of money and I didn’t need other companies product). Oh well they believed him and that was the end for Dreadlocks. I was testing two new shapes at that time the Pad Locks for small kid’s and Goldie Locks for girls. Woulda coulda shoulda. lol
