Swedish Bacon - Bacon Goes to...

Bacon was in Sweden for 20 days - they flew into Stockholm to meet up with our distributor - Stalefish (and Coyote Grind Lounge) - and hung out for a few days before driving down to the QuickSilver Bowlriders Cup in Malmo (about 5 hours South of Stockholm) I went to meet up with them after the Malmo trip in Stockholm for a series of demos and events.

As soon as I landed, I was picked up by Rolle (from CGL) and Stephen White. I immediately recognized them cause they were wearing Bacon mesh hats and shirts... reppin if you will. We drove to Rolle's house about 20 minutes outside of downtown Stockholm where all the guys were sleeping in a single room on the floor... got them up and head out about 2 hours to do a demo at Avesta. Below you can see a transfer that Tim Johnson is doing from one of the bowls to another bowl... Tim has an extra muscle in his legs.

Stephen White hurt his foot in Malmo so he wasn't doing so hot including this slam where we though he hit his head... Thankfully it was only a slam to the back.

Still in Avesta, Kowalksi with a backside air... there are photos of a vert session a few days later at the indoor skatepark at vert.nu... Kowalski is getting really good at vert.

Here's one of the window displays at Coyote Grind Lounge in Stockholm - Stoked! Another display in the shop... this might have been set up for my benefit me thinks...

Literally right outside CGL they have a series of 3 concrete bowls... this is extremely close to the old-town part of Stockholm... we ended up here almost everyday.. (still on day 1)

We skated a little before going out that night... Cobblestone streets...

Stockholm skyline... there weren't any skyscrapers.. all older building and churches. This is about 11pm at night. It stayed dark for only about 4 hours.

This backpack gives me tits, especially with the straps tied. This is the oldest street in Stockholm or something? Either way... pretty awesome ! Vieira will appreciate this - free public bike pumps. They also have bikes you can rent but you had to register and get a card for them.. I really wanted to check it out since I've never walked so much in my life.

Headed back to CGL and bumped into a customer... an actual customer! Apparently we have 2 customers now in Sweden!

I stayed close to the City Center with Niklas from Coyote whereas the other dudes stayed at Rolle's house 20 minutes out... I met up with them later since i was waking up pretty early from Jet lag and doing the site seeing thing. Here's Benji and Stephen.
