Easter skate crap

Because it’s relevant, and in case you missed the Jesus skateboarding figure. Like all holidays, Easter stuff goes on sale the day after the event. I picked up this Extreme™! Scooby Doo Easter basket last year for about $12, which was down from $30, I believe. Scooby can’t decide if he wants to hit the slalom course or barge a pool.

What's Happening?

I actually named my cat “Rerun” after the character in this show. At the time, 10 years ago, my girlfriend and I thought it was hilarious - the cat’s name, not the TV show. Now I’m married to that girl (Not That Girl) and our cat pees on my pads. The complete season two of What’s Happening is available on Amazon. Does anyone know if there is there any skateboarding these episodes? If you need audio to get in the What’s Happening!! mood, click here and scroll down.

Credit cards with shitty skateboard comapnies.

These are prepaid debit cards, meaning you can only spend as much as you have in your account. You can still order junk from the Interwebâ„¢ without worrying about going over your limit. Parents, teach your kids fiscal responsibility with corporate identity. Take a look at your choice of logos and personalities. It’s not surprising in the least. You can even get cards with cool punk bands like Clay Aiken and Good Charlotte. [Source: Sublimited] More after the jump. (more…)

Shmack. Sounds like…

shmack jeans

This is just something that makes Shmack stand out from the competition. Check these pants that come packaged in this Nike SB style shoe box. These jeans feature Shmacks sneaker protector on the cufs of the pants to keep your jeans from ruining your kicks. And to put it the package over the top there are 2 gold Shmack sneaker tabs (the things that go on your laces, like the AF1s). And for those of you who skate we got some limited edition Shmack skate decks. CJ says you should get one and see him at the skate park.

I’ll never win any fashion awards, and I’ve worn some stupid stuff in the past, but you’ve got a vanity problem if you are worried about your jeans somehow ruining your shoes. Dare I say, it makes you seem a bit feminine? Shmack is making a skateboard too, but it must be for posing since actually skating would definitely ruin your kicks. Does anyone know about this? Not our scene for sure. Ask CJ if you see him at the skatepark. Shmack makes a lot of 80’s style hip hop clothing as well as hoodies with a break away mask for disguising yourself in a really conspicuous manner. They’ve got a skate team too. Don’t be a hater. A party bag decorated with some sort of anthropomorphous sponge character. They got his back foot in the right place but went ahead and drew him stinkbug.

Motorola Cell phone skate pic

Motorola is the latest consumer electronics company to use skateboarding to help market it’s products. In this case, a cell phone. I’m not sure which object in the picture they are trying to fetish-ize. Poached from Engadget who poached it from Phonearena.com. Not quite as impressive as a 24K Gold TV huh?

LG Hi Definition Extreme

I don’t know anything about your 1080p vs. your 1080i. I’m still waiting for flat screen TV’s of any technology to reach prices affordable for your average joe. In any case, LG must be one of the sponsors of the X-Games or the Dew Tour or something, and they are showcasing footage from said event on their 24k gold plated 71 inch plasma display. At $132,000, only Tony Hawk or Bam can actually afford it. Ridiculous, as seen on Aving.net via Gizmodo.com.

Mobile Phone Boxes

There’s a company in the U.K. that makes boxes for packaging cell phones. I can’t understand who would need to repackage a cell phone, but the important thing here is that they offer a skateboarder theme as an option along side of such other extreme perennial favorites as skydiving. Mobilephoneboxes.com. If you really need to see it larger: (more…)
