Oh, how do I love the eBay? let me count the ways. The real question is, will the “Hugs, not drugs” sticker detract or add to the value of this Nash Executioner?

Gotta love infotainment graphics. This one is from the Denver Post article on William Spencer. Reminds me of several things. I think a good fake job for a character in a book or movie would be dental animation specialist - or someone who makes a living modeling 3d computer graphics of mouths and teeth for toothpaste and mouthwash commercials. We’ve covered this guy before, but now there’s newer footage. Supposedly, Spencer stunt doubled Orlando Bloom in a Japanese hair care commercial.

Both of these are a joke, but one is actually serious. From Instructables, the Jet Powered and Folding skateboards. Yes, that’s a drag chute. Yes, he put rollerblade wheels on his trucks.

Skateboard rack shots are a dime a dozen, but this one is pretty damned funny. Check it out on Bowl Freaks and say hello to Hans Moleman.
Cause he gets fan mail, and he really, really reads it.
Fan mail, and he really really needs it.
I sent you my letter now I want a reply.
You don’t know any better so you won’t take your time

Name that slightly altered tune for a valued Noprize. (Everyone I know is disqualified.) This picture of Grover was sent in by an adoring fan, and he’s got more than one. Hell, since I’m wasting one of the precious few posts we have left before we hit 2000 (!) - We might as well have a GVK photo contest. The best Grover collage submitted will win an actual prize, maybe a skateboards or some wheels or some miscellaneous (and useful) items we have laying around. Oh, and of course, a signed glossy publicity photo of the Doctor himself. Complete rules and a source file of Grover you can grab after the jump. (- Thanks to Kevin Kotrell for this one.)
UPDATE: CONTEST HAS ENDED - VOTE HERE
Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, these skateboards from Greece is for Lovers are not meant to be ridden, they just meant to be marveled at, or puzzled over. Although they appear to sell some items, these skateboards titled Tougher than Leather and Ridden in Stone appear to be more like exercises than actual products. greece is for Lovers is a design studio that likes to dabble in Greece-schtick items, some of them more useful than others, and some of them just amusing. If you want to see the full size versions head on over to Greece is for Lovers from the links above. In the event that they close up shop, there are somewhat smaller versions archived after the jump.

Cue Hans Moleman and football to the groin. Here’s a video that’s “trippy” in more ways than one. The guy takes a hard slam, of course, but what’s up with the weird warping footage that looks like it’s been shot underwater or projected onto a wobbly warped sheet of plastic? Warning: Take your dramamine before watching.
Thanks to Colin Walsh Rules for the tip, who still hasn’t figured out to send them in via email instead of leaving them as comments in unrelated posts.
Unbeatable Banzuke is a physical obstacle course Japanese game show (Kinniku Banzuke) that airs in reruns on the G4 network in the US. Apparently the original show was cancelled in 2002 after two contestants suffered serious spinal cord (OK, cervical vertebrae) injuries. The “Skeboarder” episode features a skateboard obstacle course that looks like Grover’s wet dream. An enterprising individual has captured some of it in the time honored fashion of pointing a video camera at the TV. Check it out after the jump. G4’s site has some footage but they don’t do anything to make it easy for you to find out when a particular episode will be on. “TV that’s plugged in?” Hardly. The course looks really fun, actually. One of the contestants has his occupation listed as “Skateboard Salesman.” I wonder if he goes door to door. - Thanks to Rich for the tip.

This probably fake eBay auction has got to be a misguided attempt to encourage solar energy awareness. The perpetrator needs to dig deeper into the demographics of who is going to be most likely to search for “cool and stylish skateboards” on eBay. And because these things disappear after time, the text is preserved after the jump. What kind of trucks are those, Indy 415’s?
