adidas Skateboarding pays homage to the streets of New York City – a metropolis that assisted in shaping the golden era of skateboarding – highlighting rising skate talent bred from the streets of NYC like Tyshawn Jones. Representing the diversity of the city and frequent global visitors, the skate edit features parts from Brazilian skateboarder Rodrigo TX and Silas Baxter-Neal hailing from Portland, Oregon.
A fresh edition to the team, adidas Skateboarding is proud to announce the addition of two new team riders Frankie Spears and Nora Vasconcellos – both contributing parts in the NYC skate edit. Frankie spears is a Long Island powerhouse skateboarder who takes on the biggest skate features across the city to dominate the local scene. His performance in ‘Broadway Bullet’ is a follow-up to a breakthrough ‘Thrasher x Alien Workshop’ part last fall. Breaking barriers as the first female rider to join the adidas Skateboarding team, Nora Vasconcellos has a fun, laid back style and is a great addition to the skateboarding team.
