Krusty Kills it!

Bart Simpson rides a skateboard. Yes that’s the oldest of skateboarding in pop culture news, but this shot of Krusty the Clown jumping Springfield Gorge is a major scoop. I don’t think you understand the magnitude of this discovery people! I’m starting my Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech tonight! Bonus Simpsons detritus after the jump, including DVDs and fingerboards.

These are two panels from the “Sofa So Good” story in the 2004 publication Simpsons Comics Supernova. Homer is trying to get on the Krusty the Clown show as an escape artist, but Krusty wants death defying stunts.

While I’m on the subject of the Simpsons, here’a a couple of items that don’t merit their own post. First up is dic 4 of the complete second season DVD release. This box set has illustrated Simpsons bodies on the individual DVDs that can be rotated to swap out with other character heads.

Otto seems to be the most likely secondary Simpsons character to ride a skateboard.

This is disc 3 of the complete first season.

Assorted store floor photos of varying degrees of blurriness featuring Simpsons themed Santacruz skateboards in fingerboard form from Tech Deck. Homer Simpson Rob Roskopp parodies and a Krusty the Clown cruiser that should have been a longboard.

Bart Simpson as the Keith Meek Slasher and Krusty as the Jeff Grosso toy box. Nice Futurama tribute with the Bender figure.
