You need glasses

An assortment of drinking glasses with skateboard imagery, two from restaurants and one from a food product. From Australia to the USA, from 1977 to 2002.

“Werewolf goes skateboarding” from Burger Chef in 1977. I have a vague recollection of Burger Chef restaurants, but was surprised to learn the last one closed in 1996. I thought they had shut down before that. Perhaps I was thinking of Dog and Suds. (Holy nuts, there are 16 Dog n Suds in business!) A werewolf is an odd choice for a fast food character cup.

Jump to the early 1990’s in Australia for this skateboarding glass that looks like a guy wearing some sort of a mask. The art direction is reminiscent of the 100% Mambo surf/skate brand from the 80’s, also out of Australia, and still going.

Here’s a 2002 glass from McDonalds with Ronald McDonald riding a skateboard and sporting the usual bicycle helmet.
