Devil Inside

Ah yes… INXS 6th album Kick, with the infamous Psycho Stick on the cover and minimal skateboarding featured in the video for Devil Inside. You’ve seen it, we’ve all seen it., but what about this little pin with the skateboarding devil on it? Looks like it came form Pee Wee’s Playhouse. Not exactly rare or unknown, but it’s never made an appearance here on S&A, and you know I like to be thorough.

There’s some brief skateboarding in the video for “Devil Inside.” When it was current it used to bug the hell out of me. Why put skateboarding in a video unless you’re actually going to put skateboarding in the video? Blink and you’ll miss it.

  1. The pin graphic is from the cover to the single. I found it in a thrift shop and felt the need to buy it even though I don’t like INXS.

God that oval dome skid plate and nose guard was painfully out dated in 1988, that bothered the living shit out of me in eight grade

Here’s a nice poster paying tribute to the Psycho Stick when Mudhoney played in Sydney earlier this year.

I despise TraceBook but here’s the link anyway..
