Grentec Leisure Products

I love the packaging from 70’s era skateboard parts. These parts are shrink-wrapped on a display card for hanging up on pegboard hooks, as if you could go to your local grocery or toy store and pick up a few items for your skateboard. Check out some goods from GT, aka Grentec Leisure Products.

Here’s a tune up kit made up of bushings, spacers, loose ball bearings, cup and axel nuts. Interesting that they only give you enough “action washers” for one “action bolt” assembly.

I can speak from experience, yes, you do need to carefully drop the bearings into place. Every thine I took apart my old Roller Derby I would loose at least one bearing, until I eventually didn’t have enough to set up 4 wheels.

Here we have a tiny amount of shrink wrapped non skid safety grip tape. I guess they didn’t want you to be too safe. Recommended for wood, aluminum or fiberglass boards. Got ’em all covered, thankfully. Someone in marketing must have demanded at least 4 bullet points.

Finally we have the GT version of an Elephant wrench, missing a little bit of the functionality, but probably just as useful.
