Eddie Munster on a skateboard

It’s October, and Halloween approaches! Here’s Eddie Munster on a skateboard, in model form. I haven’t been able to find any information about this set. The seller claims it was built and professionally assembled and painted by an “award winning make up artist and painter.” There’s no information about the manufacturer or date, or whether it was actually a mass produced item or a custom one-off. Ironically, the biggest hit for “Eddie Munster on skateboard” turns up this t-shirt post on S&A. It’s been on eBay for a while. Priced at about $600, it’ll probably be there for a while longer, mystery award winning makeup artist be damned! Slightly alternate view after the jump.

the artist really conveyed the shame and the pain on eddies face

  2. I saw Butch/Eddie a coupla weeks ago. He comes to our local car show every year. Super nice guy! Not one of those bitter people who can’t embrace their past. This year they had the Munster Coach and Dragula.

  3. Found my original sculpture for this tonight in my attic, I was having a look on the internet and found your page, I sculpted the original kit and sold about ten years ago, then found the sculpt in a box. The original shown has been trimmed down a little, not sure who painted it though

    1. You sculpted the original used to make kits? Am I getting this right? Who made the kit and when did it come out? You should send in a picture! Also, you’re web link isn’t working.

  4. I currently have one of these, mine looks a little better than this one though, better paint job. I’ve only heard of or seen two of these so far, mine and this one.

  5. My daughter found one of these in an antique toy store. I bought it and am working on it now. It was still unassembled and I found a sheet at the bottom of the box. It says it was made by Invaders models and sculpting and it looks like the address was from England. On mine the figure and woof woof is the same but the base is different, It is longer and has a longer wall attached to the post with the mailbox. I have never seen this model before and I couldn’t find any pictures on the internet. I found yours which is the closest to what I have. It doesn’t have a date of production on it.
