Powell Peralta business cards

These are business cards for Powell Peralta, which are excellent in an of themselves, plus they have the added benefit (or detraction, depending on your point of view) of being reminiscent of the Feederz album “Ever Feel like Killing Your Boss?” which was covered in sandpaper that meant it would destroy any record cover it came in contact with. Likewise, if someone gave you this business card you probably would want to put it in your wallet or pocket next to your phone. The even went the extra step of adding a kicktail. If only they took this attention to detail and applied it to some of their rereleases. And it it goes without saying (except I’m saying it…) that these obviously remind me of the Maple XO hang tags.

  1. These are awesome!

I kinda wish there was more info about these… like were these for a special event (probably) because there’s no individual’s name on them. These must have been pretty damn expensive, that much is sure.

  2. Wow, undrilled!
I can’t wait to hear how much these are worth!

    1. freezine for the win

Full color cards, or cards that use many colors, are printed on sheetfed presses as well; however, they use the CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) four-color printing process. Screens of each color overprinted on one another create a wide gamut of color. The downside to this printing method is that screened colors if examined closely will reveal tiny dots, whereas spot color cards are printed solid in most cases. Spot colors should be used for simple cards with line art or non-black type that is smaller than 5 points.*

    Kind regards
