Bedouins

The Tunisian Revolution have been overshadowed by the worldwide events that happened in it’s aftermath. Wounds like that don’t heal overnight, and a group of (wait for it…) skateboarders is working to bring opposites together. Behind this effort is one Nathan Gray, who has been featured here with a Shot of the Week as well as for the film Sour which documents skaters from Jordan and Israel sessioning together despite the turmoil and hatred between their lineage and surroundings. This time in Tunisia they broke the ice with some DIY transition in an abandoned pool, but there’s more. They are documenting the whole thing, trying to spread positivity. You can check it out at their collective’s web site for The Bedouins.
