Commonwealth

SE Portland has a new spot in the works called Commonwealth Skateboarding. Yes, it’s going to be pay-to-play, but it’s also indoors and concrete. I haven’t seen it in person but I hear it’s comparable in size to BSSS. Who is behind it? Check out Sherkowski Daily for the scoop or visit the Facebook page. Meanwhile, Grover gained entrance and shot some work in progress.

ummm, I swear it looks like they have wooden stakes set into the concrete floor to hold the footing boards, is that really what i’m seeing?

  2. That is going to be a blast. Look at the finish on the concrete, nice.

  3. I don’t stop by here every day so I’m not sure if this has been posted yet:

    If not, check it.

    1. It has. And speaking of way off topic, I guess it’s time to make a form for submitting tips.

      1. Excellent idea.

I can’t believe people rush in and keep posting topics through the comment section when they can just email you through ‘contact’ on this site.Jeez.

Well I know on my computer, anything below the “Annoy” on the left side of the screen is cut off. So maybe that happens to more people than just me. Luckily I have the email adress saved.

        2. @ masterochicken – what is your monitor resolution?

    2. Relax, it’s just a post in a comment thread for Pete’s sake.

  4. Similar in size to Brooklyn? Maybe in height. The footprint is much larger.

Rad to have somewhere else to skate in the rain, ceilings look pretty hi why is it all 5ft hi, breeds emosexuals and deprives the youth of the unalianable right to get RAD!!

What’s with the pay-to-play comment? I’m sure there is a nicer way to put it then that. I think those guys are only going to charge around 5 dollars or so for a session, I can’t imagine anyone having a problem with that?

      1. I think they should charge $10!
