Watch Phineas and Ferb burn rubber

Phineas & Ferb is a so-so cartoon from Disney. They’ve got some toy sets out with the two of them on things like rocket powered surfboards, and of course a skateboard. The figures look cool, but the pegs on the bottom of the longboard were kind of hard to fit into the holes. The plastic is soft on the legs and the bodies are top heavy, so they bend over a lot and can’t really stand up on their own.

What better way to burn the daylight hours than skateboarding around town!

Launch into action with Phineas and Ferb by simply pushing the button on the launcher and watch them burn rubber!

The figures themselves look good. I like the way Ferb’s helmet strap is under his nose. The arms and head swivel, and the helmets come off.

The launcher is a simple spring loaded contraption.

  1. “Kilwag, I know what I’m gonna do today. Hey. Where’s Perry?”

I’m a fan of the music on P&F…some of those songs are actually good-good, not just good-for-a-cartoon-good.

  4. Agreed Swamp. The writing (songs included) is brilliant. TheBoy and I are generally rockin’ the soundtrack on the way to daycare every morning. Also has lots of not so subtle homages to Generation X. Chronicles of Meap episode is a great example.
