Kona snake run
This is Jeff Stevens hitting the slalom portion of the iconic Kona skatepark. Damn, I wish we had one of those things around here. I know it’s not the most efficient use of concrete, dollar for dollar as far as skateparks go, but it sure looks like a lot of fun. Enlarge-o-rama and bonus. Oh hey, he’s wearing a Kona Kanoa flyaway at Kona….
We are lucky to have a sweet 70’s snake run here in Maryland. They are worth it!

I’ve seen kids standing on the edge of the snake run getting spooked and falling into the deep ass bowl on the other side of it. It’s a long fall, to the bottom, too. This thing: http://home.comcast.net/~oldskoolsk8/KonaBowl.jpg It’s a lot deeper than it looks! It sucks that kids rarely touch the concrete section of the park anymore, it really is the best part.
