  1. Yeah, Rich is king of the bargers now! A repeat offender trying to straighten up and fly right. Good one.

  2. No way! I did Glenhaven and Battle Ground by myself. He’s only one ahead of me on Vancouver.

  3. There’s still time for you to catch up…

  4. I like the idea. Homegrown pool series. Glenhaven, Battle Ground, Donald and LC #3. Three runs for $20 and good times with the crew. Let’s do it.

  5. that would be fun for sure. Good idea.

  6. I definitely prefer Cool Hand Luke to Bad News Bears.

Not sure how you judge it though. I suppose everyone at the session could put up their money for the first one over the pipe at Vancouver or around Reedsport and if nobody makes it, money goes into the hospital fund. High sticker in the pipe, something specific like that.

  7. what about king of the nw.? just lists of tricks and stuff …

anyonr remember the ,i think 2nd one, donald jam where the crowd was givin gold coins to give to the skater they thought was ripping hardest. seems like a lot of people, crowd and skaters alike, liked the format for choosing a winner. In the end there was no single overall winner, there were some guys with lots of coins in their pockets instead. no ‘official’ winner.

  9. Yeah, that Donald Nontest was a good one. I think those were dollar coins that Sam from Skate Oregon handed out. Very cool idea.

I think the days of needing an organized contest series on the local scale have somewhat passed. It was different, way back when, when the scene was much smaller but nowadays we don’t exactly need to promote our scene. I like hte Nontest format, or just the jam or maybe bbq-party format like the recent Port Orford post.

  10. Yeah, we should totally tell the Trifecta to go to Washington…(oh wait, they are).
