SkateGirl
SkateGirl is a one hour long documentary about the movement of professional women’s skateboarding. There is a showing of SkateGirl on February 3rd in Vancouver BC’s Antisocial shop, but it’s not on their web site right now. Update: It’s up now. Listening to Hosoi talk is kind of like listening to George W, Bush.
Probably not the clip that I would have chosen to promote the film, but it’s not my choice, and that’s the only one available. I thought it was an odd choice as well. I would have rather actually seen women skating.
We just gotta play ’em one day at a time. I just wanta give it my best shot and, Good Lord willing, things’ll work out.
