Rocket powered skateboard

Best / Worst Dad ever

I have a son who is nearing two years old. I hope that I will be the kind of dad who, like this one, decided that if he was going to go through the trouble of risking a divorce by making a rocket powered skateboard for his son, he would at least pad him up in a crash suit and a full face motorcycle helmet. I also hope my son won’t disappoint me like the kid in this video did. Check it out after the jump. That rocket packs more power than it looks like. Lighting it with a blow torch is a nice effect.

Hey, we’re equal opportunity over here. Sick of YouTube? Check out this video on would be contender Zaable.com, which is where I originally found this.

  1. mongo!

  2. Tough choice, check to see that the boy is not seriously injured or run after the flaming board to make sure it doesn’t immolate the neighbor

  3. what a stupid, white trash piece of shit.

obviously the kid needs to loosen his trucks, but I’m not sure if K-mart boards have that option.

  5. If any of the current people that have made comments had commen sense they would realize that your going to be a fucking millionaire. This is something that has never been done in the world. Do any of you guys think that if you saw the Razor scooter on this site, that you would think wow!! this is awsome. Kids are going to eat this up. You guys would have trashed the product because your not thinking of what kids think!!

  6. since when is this a product? did you read the description or the comments DAVE? Kilwag, your future is to be a millionaire…

  7. I think DAVE accidentally posted this here instead of here.

And to answer your question DAVE, this site is absolutely not about what little kids think is cool. If the port-a-board does actually work well, you’re right, it probably will sell a buttload, but it probably won’t perform like a traditional skateboard, so it will be relegated to a purely utilitarian (transportation) mode, which although clever, is boring.

  8. understood, sorry for my rudeness. the porta board is still another lame idea.

I can’t take what Dave says too seriously if he can’t even comment on the right article in the right place.
