Avoid the holiday rush
Even though that hotel sign doesn’t say “pool,” there’s still good skating to be had. We decided to check out the new Woodland Washington skatepark on Saturday because we hadn’t been there, and we thought it was such a nice day that Pier PArk would have been crowded. We weren’t the only ones with that idea. MC has a comic about it and I only got one decent pic, after the jump.
That’s Ty on the smith grind. On deck is Dreamland’s Sage Bolyard, who decided he might as well check out Woodland, since he’d never ridden it. This picture doesn’t show it, but the session was pretty crowded. Yeah, this is the only shot I got.

Despite the crowds that was a pretty fun time on Saturday. Usually there is nobody there.
Yeah. Duh. you’re right. I know the difference between those guys obviously, I was going from memory rather than actually looking at the picture. That’s why I haven’t made the big time.
