Cab Surfboard Graphic

A Steve Caballero inspired surfboard graphic, made for the man himself. Details are sketchy, Facebook only links. Shaped by Lucas and Sons, as seen on Old School Skateboarding.

  1. What a strange shape! It copies the original skateboard shape, but it doesn’t look like just a gimmick. It’s got fin slots. Kind of knee boardy, but way to big for that. Weird! I’d like to ride it.

This is a ‘mini Simmons’ shape. These shapes were all the rage with ‘surf hipsters,’ Richard Kenvin and Tony Alva a couple of years back. They should have D shapped twin fins unlike Cabbie’s quad. Cab’s is indeed well oversized. These boards are usually a good foot less than the surfer’s height. They are pretty close to skateboarding on water.

why would cab ride a mini simmons? he should be on a 5’9 lost rocket blasting 5ft caballerials off the wave…then again its a nice piece of functional artwork

Small wave summer board? I remember California and Surfing (vaguely). I should pretend that I am going to go surfing and go skate Lincoln City instead.
