Portlandia and Old Skater
Carrie Brownstein after filming another episode of Portlandia with a skateboarding segment. They shot at Burnside last season. I haven’t posted that yet. Local skater Russ from Gorey Details suited up as an “old skater” for this episode.

Fuck yeah, Russ!
If you don’t know him, Russ is 50 years old, and celebrated his birthday by killing DOS with endless 50-50s, backside airs over the hip, laybacks, tailslides, and a variety of other lines most people half his age just don’t have.
We should all be so lucky as to age as well as he has. Also, he’s the dude who shows up to help build, maintain, and clean up at DOS–and he does it more than everyone else combined.
Looking forward to seeing him in Portlandia! Fucking hilarious!
