Maxine at the Olympics
I watched quite a bit of the Olympics, enjoyed some of the action. I did not enjoy the shitty coverage courtesy of NBC. I think I was a week into it before I realized there were other events besides gymnastics and swimming. One thing I did not miss, skateboarding in the olympics. I poached this Maxine cartoon from the Maxine facebook page via Nick Dawson.

I watched a lot and I’m happy that my little country gained a heap of medals.
Oh, and I like to see DH and marathon longboarding in the olympics.
I really wanted to see the canoeing event but every time I checked it was beach volleyball.
I’ve watched it all, on 4 different channels. Just ask.
(“Jeez tq, was the canooeing any interesting? What? The hungarians won the most medals AGAIN?”
“Wouldn’t you rather watch a couple of girls in bikini’s working their skinny asses off?”
In some situations canoeing refers to both canoeing and kayaking. Other than by the minimum competition specifications (typically length and width (beam) and seating arrangement it is difficult to differentiate most competition canoes from the equivalent competition kayaks.;
