  2. you can bet your stinky knee pads on that. number of homemade grind boxes etc. is roughly million times bigger than number of home made skate bowls.

    • The dollar and space investment required to build a bowl makes that inevitable, but I wonder what percentage of those ledges and fun boxes are concrete or permanent vs wooden. There’s no implied value judgement there. I’d like to see what sort of permanent or semi-permanent street inspired backyard structures are out there.

    This one kid I knew actually got his parents to let hime build a cement ledge in his backyard. It was nice too. He moved recently,so I’ve been wondering what happened to that ledge.
