The Five: Miseri Loves Company

Cool title for this inspired surf instrumental by the band The Five out of Brisbane, Australia. Miseri Loves Company is from their 2010 ep titled ‘For Five Nights Only’. The video has schoolyard skateboard footage form the 70’s.

Right-on,surf music is still alive! I used to like this music a lot, back in the ’90’s,with the Pulp Fiction/Dick Dale ‘craze’.

Nice skate footage, even for an eighties-kid.
Big helmets, small boards, and some lethal nose wheelies!

  2. Soul Asylum already had a song called that…bring on the Soul Asylum hate!

    1. I hate Soul Asylum.

    ‘Misirlou loves company’…

  4. Early Soul Asylum is good stuff. Anything in the “Runaway Train” era became corporate records label bullshit.

  5. I heard they played last year at the zoo back home and the new drummer yelled “this one’s off the new album!”, and the singer deadpand- “It’s too late, Michael”…
