Tony Hawk can’t Dancey Dance
I’ve been formulating my own skateboarding parody of this show for a year or two now. It will be called “Ho Daddy-Yo!” Yo Gabba Gabba has quite a bunch of skateboarding on it, usually in the form of some of the short intermission animations, but it also appears in the beginning of the “Cool Tricks” segment. In fact, I believe Ray Barbee makes an appearance on “Cool Tricks.” This segment is a couple years old too. So old that they got around to posting it on the Yo Gabba Gabba Youtube channel before I got around to posting it. For some reason they made this part of the Dancey Dance segment. Dancey Dance usually features someone at usually at least marginally famous leading the gang in a dance. Tony Hawk can’t dancey dance.

Yo Gabba Gabba was created by the lead singer of The Aquabats, Christian Jacobs (mc bat commander). It makes sense that he’d bring skateboarding to the tv show as well. Check out The Aquabats song “my skateboard”.

I thought it was created by superior frontman Mark Mothersbaugh from that band with the silly hats
Just the other day, I was thinking of awesome it would be to skate pool to the song “Cool pool party” by The Aquabats.
you can see why tony is a legend. he ripped that mini ramp like no one really can. I guess the varials were what i’m impressed by

The Aquabats opened for Man or Astroman in LA when I went to that show. They were really good, hilarious stage show. Astroman was mind blowing, tesla lightening generator and all.
