D*Face and Salba are Ridiculous

dface

Watch a time lapse video of some cool stencil art by D*Face in a private bowl, then Salba and friends shred it. From a distance it looks like a pile of leaves that blew in, but it’s actually skulls. Video and image gallery at Arrested Motion, or watch the video after the jump.

- Thanks to JF for the tip.

PK scored on that place…imagine poaching what turns out to be the perfect pool, thus “Ridiculous” – then finding out you could purchase the place, cheap???? Done deal. Nice to see the General G.O. got some in too.

  6. the black jesus says:

when i saw the initial pictures of the stencils going down, i thought it might make it difficult to skate, i.e. getting lost in the skulls… but the way he did it, it looks pretty killer…

  7. the black jesus says:

to see why that pool is ridiculous u should get “welcome to ridiculous” by toby burger… rad video of the pool and the many rippers who have visited there… skreech, salba, wrex, rune, etc etc etc

  8. pigcity says:

Fuck D-Face and all the other Arty Faux Skate types.

  9. SCphotog says:

Rock on D-Face and all the skaters that bring art into our culture !

  10. PIGCITY says:

Art has always been in our culture the whole act of skating is art, although of late its been used as a card by some aspiring ‘street’ artists to gain some credibility. Look how many limited edition artists skate decks, shoes, shirts there are these days. Fuck em all.
