GVK#47: 2008 Oregon Trifecta Part 2

000-gvk-47 2008 Oregon Trifecta

The second installment (See part one) in the trifecta series. This was a great contest. Skateboarding is not a sport but this was real competition. This was also the best run of the series. It has become a regular thing we all look forward to during the dog days of summer. Hope to see yall there. We will leave the light on and keep the damn raccoon out my truck. Out Grover.

  1. brad says:

…that DOA footy at the beginning is great- everybody wanted to be either Randy Rampage or Biscuits in my little hardcore scene- all because of that video…

  2. Kilwag says:

Never seen the DOA vid, but putting it in the intro in time with the music was a slick idea.

  3. brad says:

oh its just sick, that Chuck Biscuits was the Keith Moon of hardcore, tons of little drum fills and he had his tongue out all the time making faces…apparently when they traded him to Flag, DOA got to keep his kit- it was trading a hockey prospect…

  4. warehouse says:

Love the DOA. It’s been awhile since I heard that. My first Van/skatepark trip involved seeing them. The bloodied but unbowed “tour”.
    82?

  5. Reese says:

A crisp version of that video is in the special features of the dvd DOA:Smash the State—Netflix has it. No doubt Rampage and Biscuits were the top of the heap for rythym sections in the early years. Any body who doubts Chuck Biscuits creds should seek out a copy of the never released Black Flag 1982 Demo’s (google it and you’ll get the download links). He made the My War/Slip it In setlist sound punkrock.
