Another You - Pryor and Wilder

Joesf Heffner sent in a screen grab from the 1991 Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor film Another You. I watched the trailer and I can’t figure out how the road warrior on skateboard fits in. Looks like they chopped off the front of the board and attached a cow catcher, possibly even painted some 215’s blue. That board’s been actually used for more than just a prop.

    Pretty sure those are trackers, definitely not indys.

    I thought they might be too, but they look wider than anything Tracker ever made. Must be that the aspect ratio is a little screwed up.

    I guess the pivot cup should have been the giveaway.

    did you notice the size and width difference on the front and back wheels? In the movie, there is just a panning scene of a California city street and I caught site of this guy and his board.

    i had one pair of these trucks, european trackers bootlegs, exactly like trackers but wider. didnt turn either. my dad bought in europe with a set o X-CALIBER wheels. that set up sucks/

    i rememeber that NOSEGUARD, it had a kind of a grabber attached.
